    A famous Polish voice-over artist has died. He was 77

    Tomasz Knapik, voiceover artist for film, radio and television, passed away. He would have turned 78 next Thursday. His death was announced by Maciej, his son.

    The news of Tomasz Knapik’s death was announced by Maciej Knapik, a journalist and, privately, his son. “As some of you know, he has been battling a severe illness crisis for over two months. We all hoped he would succeed. Unfortunately,” he wrote.

      

    As Maciej Knapik recalled, his father would have turned 78 next Thursday. “He passed away in his sleep, in the morning.  He joined my mom,” he added.

     

     

    Tomasz Knapik began his professional career at Scout Radio. Then he worked successively in the Polish Radio, TVP and also in Polsat. He has read dialogue lists in dozens of films and TV series.
