    Paris: Massive Fire In Notre-Dame

“French firefighters have won an hours-long battle to save the main structure of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, after a colossal fire caused the spire of the historic edifice to crash to the ground and wiped out centuries of heritage.” – Telegraph UK

The 850-year-old cathedral and second most iconic image of Paris is home to many priceless works of art, architecture, statues as well as musical instruments and religious relics.

“Notre Dame on fire is a catastrophe for the Catholic Church as well as for European history. It is a tragic moment for all Catholics and Christians. Poland is uniting with Paris and France” – Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on his Twitter account.
