On October 1, the scholarship and mentoring program has launched. The program is for female high school students from towns of up to 50,000 inhabitants, supporting the technological education of young women and preparing them for work in the video game industry.
The organizers of this unique project are CD PROJEKT RED, a Polish development studio creating world-renowned video games (including the Witcher series, Cyberpunk 2077), and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, which for nearly 25 years has been helping young people choose their educational paths and professional development.
The program “Girls in the Game!” is addressed to senior high school and technical school students from smaller towns who are passionate about gaming, illustration, and computer graphics, taking their first steps in 3D animation, trying programming, or creating stories about amazing adventures of superheroes.
Scholarship recipients of the “Girls in the Game!” program will receive:
– 20 annual scholarships of PLN 1000 per month,
– a series of workshops on various aspects of video game development,
– individual mentoring by experts from CD PROJEKT RED.
