MEPs expect EC’s clarification on non-approval of Hungarian and Polish reconstruction plans
On Wednesday, MEPs will discuss the state of implementation of Hungary’s and Poland’s recovery and resilience plans with EC Deputy Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis and Economic Affairs Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni.
MEPs will ask about the main reasons for the delay and when the Commission will approve both plans. The extension of the deadline for approving the Polish recovery plan expired on August 3 and the Hungarian one on September 30.
