In Poland, more and more companies are testing e-grocery shopping with immediate delivery. Their potential attracts not only start-ups but also the biggest players – writes “Puls Biznesu”.
As the newspaper reminds, “in recent days, the discount store chain Biedronka, owned by Jeronimo Martins Polska, together with Glovo, a mobile delivery service platform, have announced a joint project – BIEK”. Customers were offered instant delivery of products ordered through the app.
Waiting time for shopping: 15 minutes. For now, the service will be available in six cities and deliveries will be made within a 2 km radius from Biedronka’s mini distribution centres,” we read.
According to the daily, “Q-commerce, or online trading with instant delivery, has also attracted the interest of the Żabka chain of stores”.
