President Duda: Jaruzelski was a coward and a traitor

On the 40th anniversary of the introduction of martial law, we have to shout it out that Jaruzelski was an ordinary coward and a traitor to Poland, and people around him were just a group of bandit emissaries from Moscow who demanded Soviet intervention, Andrzej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland, said during the ceremony of awarding decorations to oppositionists from the times of the Polish People’s Republic.

In his speech after the awarding of the Centenary Medals of Regained Independence to the distinguished activists of NSZZ “Solidarity”, participants of the democratic opposition in the People’s Republic of Poland and people who care about the memory of the recent history of Poland, the President thanked those fighting for a free, independent and sovereign Poland.

“Thank you for fighting, and despite the passing of these years, you are constantly fighting for this Poland, to make it even more independent, sovereign, free. Thank you for that. My generation was lucky that the generation of its grandparents and parents won a free Poland,” said President Andrzej Duda.
