    Amazon: over 25,000 permanent workplaces

Amazon has created more than 25,000 permanent workplaces in Poland since 2014. Parallel to the development in the area of human resources policy, Amazon Fulfillment Poland was awarded the title of Top Employer. The international certifying body, Top Employers Institute, recognized the quality of Amazon’s work environment, development opportunities for employees, and high standards and best HR practices. Amazon offers employees a variety of positions in logistics centres, Technology Development Centers, corporate offices, and Amazon Web Services.

Amazon offers employees attractive salaries and a wide package of non-wage benefits, such as private medical care, health insurance or employee discounts. Entry-level employees at Amazon’s logistics centres who have been employed for more than one year also have access to the innovative “Amazon Career Choice” program for educational funding. For 4 years, Amazon covers up to 95 per cent of the cost of professional training selected by employees, up to PLN 26,000.

“We have become an integral part of Polish people’s lives over the past ten years and we are proud of that. We would not be able to grow on this scale without friendly communities and professional support from central, regional and local governments. Our priority is the safety of our employees – it is the most important thing for us, that is why we invest in it, along with competitive salaries and high-quality non-salary benefits,” says Marian Sepesi, Regional Direction Operations for Central and Eastern Europe.

The Top Employer 2022 certificate, awarded to Amazon Fulfillment Poland by the Top Employers Institute, is a confirmation of commitment to the employees of logistics centres. It is one of the world’s most prestigious certifications in human resource management, acknowledging the high quality of the work environment, professional development opportunities and availability of employee programs. The Top Employer audit process highlights progress on issues such as equal pay and social inclusion. Amazon’s compensation packages are attractive, with salaries based on experience, industry, and include a wide range of benefits for all employees from the first day of employment.
