XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 on a postage stamp

The Polish Post Office has introduced a postage stamp of the “XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022”. The stamp, in an edition of 144,000 pieces, went to postal outlets across the country yesterday.

The author of the project is Jan Konarzewski. He presented in the central part of the stamp a symbolic trace left by the skis on the snow, and right next to it the logo of the Polish Olympic Committee. Apart from the stamp, the Polish Post issued an FDC envelope (first day of circulation), on which, next to the trace of skis, there were symbols of seven Olympic gold medals – all those won by Polish athletes in the history of 23 Winter Olympic Games starts.

The Olympic Winter Games in Beijing will be held from February 4-20, 2022.
