PKN ORLEN terminated the contracts with 9 petrol stations that artificially drive fuel prices up, both with the petrol stations supplied by Orlen and trademarked ones.
According to the company’s press service, PKN Orlen terminated contracts with nine petrol stations that artificially increase the price of fuel effective immediately, including both the petrol station supplied by PKN ORLEN and those using the trademark.
“As announced by PKN ORLEN Chairman Daniel Obajtek, we are immediately terminating contracts with 9 service stations that artificially increase fuel prices, including both the chain that receives our fuel and those that uses our brand. We consider it unacceptable to take advantage of the current situation and raise prices to a level that is not justified by the factors that determine retail prices. We assure you that we will examine all reports of price manipulation and fight it ruthlessly”, it was said.
Daniel Obajtek, PKN Orlen’s CEO, wrote on his social media that the company did not tolerate fraudulent actions aimed at making a pile on citizens.
“We terminate immediately the contracts with nine petrol stations that artificially drive fuel prices up. Notices of termination of the contracts for the owners of 8 gas stations that buy our fuels and 1 gas station that use our trademark are on their way. We will check all signals of price manipulation and fight them vigorously,” he informed.
