Tarczyński: “If Germany does not stop counting money, Putin will knock on Berlin’s door”

“Germans must understand that the money they spend on Putin is money to murder Ukrainian children, and in the future, God forbid, Polish, German and French children,” Dominik Tarczyński, MEP of Law and Justice, said in the TVP Info programme “Jedziemy.”

“We know what this is about. The ratio of money transferred to Putin to help Ukraine is EUR 350 billion to EUR 1 billion. A comment is unnecessary,” said the MEP.

He also warned that “if the European Union does not rise to the occasion, if Germany does not stop counting the euros and thinking about the future, Putin will knock on Berlin’s door.”

“They will be as surprised as they are now by mass graves,” he added.

“Germans must understand that the money they spend on Putin is money to murder Ukrainian children, and in the future, God forbid, Polish, German and French children. It should be remembered that Germany and France were among the ten countries of the European Union that continued to sell arms despite the annexation of Crimea and the embargo. This hypocrisy is powerful,” Tarczyński pointed out.

Asked by editor Michał Rachoń why there was no support for a ban on gas and oil imports from Russia – pointing to the forecast that it would cost the German taxpayer 80 euros a month – Tarczyński said:

“We all have the impression that they are a bit historically handicapped. What happened during World War II forces them to treat the Russians this way and not to treat them differently. That’s how they explain it to themselves and explain it to others. This is an obvious lie. We know what it looked like, even on a larger scale, over the centuries.”
