“This year, after two years of lockdowns, we can finally celebrate together. We will be able to converse, reminisce and make plans for the future. But for many Polish families due to unexpected guests, this Easter is particularly special,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in a short video with Easter wishes.
In a short video attached to the post, he recalled that the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord is a time of joy, in which we traditionally meet in family circles.
“This year, after two years of lockdowns, we can finally celebrate together. We will be able to converse, reminisce and make plans for the future. But for many Polish families do to unexpected guests this Easter is particularly special,” he said.
He added that thousands of Poles are showing their help.
“They are opening their hearts and homes, sharing what they have. This extraordinary gift of solidarity will be remembered by Ukrainians for generations. I also extend a deep, humble and heartfelt thank you to all Poles,” the Prime Minister said.
He wished the Poles a healthy, happy and family Easter.
