What happened next? According to Stanislaw Żaryn, the Yemeni made contact with activists to get to Poland, knowing that the border was tightly guarded. He also sought help for his comrades.
“The screenshot provided by one of the smugglers contains correspondence with the above-mentioned Yemenis asking for help to contact the ‘Grupa Granica’ organisation,” wrote Żaryn, posting a recording of the conversation in Arabic:
