On April 23rd and 24th Expo XXI in Warsaw will take place the Exhibition of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Paintings in 3D. You will be able to see the works of Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and Auguste Renoir among others.
Impressionism is a trend in a trend in art where the painter tries to resemble an impression, an elusive moment in an artwork. It takes its name from Impression, Sunrise painted by Claude Monet. The movement peaked at the end of the 19th century and became one of the most important trends in modernism art.
The exhibition is made out of 60 artworks. The paintings have been processed with the anaglyph red-cyan technology, which gives a three-dimensional impression when wearing 3D glasses. Thanks to that, the depth of the paintings is brought to life, and the onlookers can discover more details about well-known paintings.
The viewing is preceded by a short lecture explaining how the exhibition works and how to look at the paintings to see all their assets. The viewers are given 3D glasses when entering the exhibition, and the entire viewing takes about an hour.
