Today, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Jarosław Kaczyński have met the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, in Kyiv. During the visit, the extension of the agreement between Ukraine and Poland on being good neighbours was discussed. The consultations concerned the supply of weapons through the territory of Poland and the improvement of the work of the customs service on the common border.
The talks also concerned Poland’s support for Ukraine’s European aspirations. According to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, military support for Kyiv and the achievement of a bilateral agreement are key to the security of the whole of Europe. He expressed the conviction that the scale of the currently conducted consultations was unprecedented.
