Russian airstrike on Vinnytsia. Zelensky: “This is an act of terrorism!” [VIDEO]

According to Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko, Russian invaders hit a shopping mall in Vinnytsia. “This is nothing but an act of terrorism,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky referred with these words to the Russian airstrike on Vinnytsia, which killed at least 12 people.

According to Ukrainian media, the rockets struck in the city centre area. A fire broke out as a result of the explosion.

“Every day Russia kills civilian residents, kills Ukrainian children, directs rockets at civilian objects where there are no military objects,” Zelensky wrote on Facebook, also posting footage from the centre of Vinnytsia.

“This is nothing but an act of terrorism. They are not humans. This is a killer state. A terrorist state,” Zelensky stressed.

The death toll from a Russian airstrike on the centre of Vinnytsia in central Ukraine has risen to at least 12; at least 25 people are injured, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported. Earlier it was reported that two were killed, including a young child.

The attack took place on Thursday morning. The centre of Vinnytsia was hit – according to preliminary findings – by three rockets. An office building became the target, while residential buildings and the Officers’ House were also affected. Dozens of cars caught fire as a result of the attack.
