    Further medals for Poles in Munich! Five medals in a row at the European Canoe Championships!

    Karolina Naja and Anna Puławska became European champions in Munich. The Polish canoeists performed professionally in the final race in the K2 competition for 500 meters and left the Belgian and German women far behind. What is more, Julia Walczak and Sylwia Szczerbinska reached for the bronze in the C2 500m Olympic competition. Marta Walkiewicz won a bronze in Women’s Kayak Single 200m and Oleksii Koliadych also won a bronze in Men’s Kayak Single 200m. And another medal was won by Jakub Stepun and Bartosz Grabowski. Polish men reached for the silver medal in Men’s Kayak Double 200m!

    After the world championship, the Polish women confirmed their class on the track in Munich during the European Championships. Karolina Naja and Anna Pulawska reached the finish line with a time of 1:41.418 and left behind the Belgian (1:42.230) and German women (1:42.702).

    This is the second medal won by the Polish team in Munich. On Friday, Justyna Iskrzycka and Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk became vice-champions in the non-Olympic K2 1000m event.

    Iskrzycka and Kolodziejczyk won a silver medal in the Women’s Kayak double 1000m

    Polish women also won another medal in Munich today. Julia Walczak and Sylwia Szczerbińska reached for the bronze in the C2 500m Olympic competition. The Ukrainians triumphed ahead of the Hungarians. This is the third medal for the Poles at the European Canoe Championships.

     

    Marta Walkiewicz, however, reached for bronze in Women’s Kayak Single 200m!

    A few minutes later, Oleksii Koliadych also won a bronze in Men’s Kayak Single 200m!

    The sixth medal was won by Jakub Stepun and Bartosz Grabowski. Polish men reached for the silver medal in Men’s Kayak Double 200m!
