Great news on Sunday morning from the European Championships in Munich! Mateusz Surwiło from Sports Rehabilitation Association START in Zielona Góra is now officially the 2022 Paracanoe Vice-champion! Surwiło won a silver medal in canoe sprint men’s kayak single – KL3 200m!

Then, on Sunday, August 21, the canoe sprint men’s kayak single – KL3 200m was the second race of the day on the canoe track. Mateusz Surwiło started from the 4th lane and his excellent performance was also the silver medal-winning race! He covered a distance of 200 meters in 41,466 seconds and was just over half a second behind the winner – Juan Antonio Valle (Spain).

This is the second medal for Poland in the paracanoe discipline at the European Championships in Munich. Karolina Bronowicz won the first one and she took 3rd place.
