After a medal-winning Saturday in canoeing in Munich, it was time for an equally podium-rich Sunday. Already in the inaugural start, Mateusz Surwiło reached for silver. Just an hour later, Justyna Iskrzycka was second in the K1 1,000-meter final. What is more, Kitewski and Śliwiński reached for gold in Canoe Double 200m!
The Pole already had a medal in Munich. On Saturday, paired with Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk, she reached for the vice-championship of Europe at the same distance.

Iskrzycka and Kołodziejczyk won a silver medal in the Women’s Kayak Double 1000m!
The kayakers took turns in the lead. However, the Pole was clearly saving her strength for the finish. She moved up two places from fourth place and was even close to overtaking the gold medalist from Hungary. The Iberian kayaker finished in third place.

Just few minutes later, Aleksander Kitewski and Arsen Śliwiński reached for gold! Polish men became the European Champions in Men’s Canoe Double 200m!
