The third season of Poland Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge

Simulated racing or racing simulation, commonly known as simply sim racing means racing game software that attempts to accurately simulate auto racing, complete with real-world variables such as fuel usage, damage, tire wear and grip, and suspension settings. 24 leading Esports drivers from Poland will compete in the most important digital motorsport competition – Poland Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge, held as part of the Polish championship. This year the organizers have prepared a record pool of prizes worth PLN 40,000! The races will be broadcast live on ELEVEN SPORTS TV.

This year’s Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Poland consists of six rounds located on five continents. The drivers race the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup on virtual versions of the world’s most famous circuits on the iRacing platform. At the beginning, they competed on the home circuit of Porsche – the German Hockenheimring, on September 8.

Then next Thursday the competition took place at the American Sebring. The two-week break will be preceded by the competition at Interlagos in Brazil, and the next rounds will take place every seven days until the very end of the season. Suzuka (Japan), Mount Panorama Circuit (Australia) and Red Bull Ring (Austria) make up the other half of the competition. The best Polish simracers will experience an incredibly intense two months of competition and a virtual journey around the world.

The history of the Polish Digital Motorsport Championship began in 2020, when the Polish Motor Association together with Ragnar Simulator noticed the growing potential of simracing in the country and worldwide. Virtual races have begun to gain popularity when the “real” ones could not be used in the reality, which at the same time made more people decide to start their adventure with simracing.

Over time, new partners joined the project, such as Porsche Polska, which became the title sponsor. Also, thanks to ELEVEN SPORTS, the broadcasts of the competition appeared on the same channel that broadcasts the competition in Formula 1.
