Registration is now open for the 21st Maritime Economy Forum Gdynia 2022, during which entrepreneurs, maritime experts, local government officials, economists, and representatives of the world of science will discuss challenges and opportunities for the maritime sector in the new geopolitical environment.
The Maritime Economy Forum will take place on 14 October 2022 at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia, which will become the centre of heated industry discussions relevant to the region and Poland.
“We thought that after a pandemic break, we would finally return to normality. However, the war in Ukraine has caused further crises and further threats. This is what we want to talk about at this year’s forum,” Slawomir Kalicki, substantive leader of the Maritime Economy Forum, says.
Challenges and opportunities for the maritime sector in the new geopolitical environment – this is the main theme of the 21st edition of the Maritime Economy Forum Gdynia 2022. “We can finally return to traditional panel discussions with the active participation of event participants involved in the construction and development of the maritime industry in Poland,” Wojciech Szczurek, president of Gdynia, says.
“The forum provides a place for those involved in the maritime sector in the broadest sense of the term to exchange views and discuss. The city supports the development of every business, but the area of the maritime economy is particularly close to us, so we are happy to organize an event that allows a meeting of specialists to discuss the most important challenges for the industry, fosters the building of good relations and perhaps will result in new projects and contracts,” Wojciech Szczurek stresses.
The topics proposed by the forum organisers relate to the most important current economic issues, and the selection of interlocutors guarantees an interesting and substantive discussion. This year’s discussions will revolve around five thematic blocks Maritime Technologies, Sea Ports, Maritime Logistics, Yacht Industry and Renewable Energy.
Participation in the event is free of charge, after prior registration on the website: forum.gdynia.pl/en/home/
