The United States will continue to support Poland – said US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher in an interview for the Saturday issue of the Super Express newspaper. She emphasized that she was satisfied with recent progress in Polish-American relations.
Mosbacher said that along with another 1,000 American soldiers arriving in Poland, the country has become a key point on NATO’s eastern flank. She emphasized that a lot was also done in the field of energy security, as exemplified by the purchase of LNG (liquefied natural gas) by Poland from the USA. This year in Polish-American relations was significant, mainly due to the increase in the number of American troops in Poland and the introduction by the US of a visa-free program for Poles traveling to the United States. The US ambassador also said that US president Donald Trump has warm feelings for Poland because of their shared history and shared values.
