Elections This Sunday: Important Appeal from President Duda

Today, President of Poland Andrzej Duda emphasized that elections are the foundation of democracy, which guarantees the rights of all citizens. “As the President, I appeal to you—let’s go to the polls. Let’s encourage our loved ones to vote. Every vote is equally important, regardless of views,” he stressed.

In his morning post on platform X, President Duda stated, “We face an extremely important decision—the election of the President of the Republic of Poland.”

“By electing a President, we are not just choosing a Head of State—we are setting the direction in which Poland will move. We are selecting a guardian of the nation’s sovereignty and security, someone who should act and speak clearly and decisively: Poland has its own goals, dignity, and ambitions rooted in over a thousand years of history,” emphasized President Duda.

He noted that elections are the cornerstone of democracy, which ensures the rights of all citizens. “That’s why, as President, I urge you—let’s vote! Encourage your loved ones to do the same! Every vote matters equally—regardless of political views or place of residence,” he said.

He added that the higher the turnout, the stronger the democratic mandate for the new President and the greater the strength of the Republic. “Take part in the elections,” appealed the President.
