    Earth Observation Forum on November 8-9 in Warsaw

    Polish Space Agency (POLSA) has organized a series of meetings under the name of the Earth Observations Forum. This year’s edition of the forum will take place on November 8-9 in Warsaw and online. Earth Observation Forum is aimed at representatives of public administration, science, and industry who want to use satellite data in their work, companies that offer services in this field, and everyone interested in this subject.

    The forum will last two days and it will be full of various attractions for the participants. Once again, there will be an opportunity to listen to many interesting lectures, speeches and discussions between leading experts of the space sector. Earth Observation Forum is an event focused on the use of satellite data mainly by public administration as well as by industry. The topics of this year’s edition will concern the areas of agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, sustainable urban development, adaptation to climate change, and renewable energy sources.

    The organizers believe that participation in such an event is a great opportunity to learn about the competences of Polish research centers, institutes and space industry companies. Earth Observation Forum is also a platform for discussion and exchange of experiences on ongoing projects, plans for the future or current challenges in the field of Earth Observation.

    The agenda of the forum includes:

    -Solar energy monitoring and forecasting using satellite products and models (Piotr Struzik and Bogdan Bochenek)
    -Pilot 3.2 High photovoltaic penetration at urban scale

    and more.

    All representatives of public administration units, science and the space sector, as well as other people interested in the subject of wide use of satellite data in various sectors of the economy are invited to participate in the forum.
