Incubation of start-ups in Poland will be carried out in two cities, Warsaw and Rzeszów.

On October 28, during the conference “10 years of Poland in ESA”, an agreement was signed between ARP and ESA for the creation of an ESA BIC incubator in Poland. A startup incubator is a collaborative program for startup companies — usually physically located in one central workspace — designed to help startups in their infancy succeed by providing workspace, seed funding, mentoring and training.

“The space sector is an industry that can contribute to the creation of a new model for the development of the Polish economy, based to an even greater extent on knowledge, innovation and technological progress”, said Deputy Minister Kamila Król.

On the part of ARP, the agreement was signed by: Cezariusz Lesisz, President of Industrial Development Agency S.A. and Sebastian Dąbski, Vice President of the Industrial Development Agency S.A. On behalf of ESA, it was signed by Josef Aschbacher, ESA Director General.
