    Kazimierz Suwała will serve as the head of the European Film Center CAMERIMAGE

    The Minister of Culture and National Heritage prof. Piotr Gliński appointed Kazimierz Suwała as the head of the newly created European Film Center CAMERIMAGE in Toruń – the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage informed.

    Suwała since 2001 was the director of the CAMERIMAGE Festival Office. From 2006, he was the president of the board of the World Art Foundation, founded by the American director David Lynch and by the creator and director of the CAMERIMAGE Film Festival Marek Żydowicz. Since 2017, he has been an advisor to the director of the Center for Contemporary Art in Toruń. The European Film Center CAMERIMAGE is a new national cultural institution responsible for organizing and co-financing the CAMERIMAGE Film Festival and other international film events.
