Amazon Prime Day for the first time in Poland on 12 and 13 July

The annual global event, Amazon Prime Day, will be held in Poland for the first time and will give Prime customers access to thousands of products at even more attractive prices.

During Prime Day, customers will be able to take advantage of the exclusive bargains on products from some of the world’s most popular brands such as Apple, Sony, Bose, Huawei, Philips and Lego, as well as big discounts on thousands of products from small and medium-sized businesses.

Anyone who is not already a Prime customer can try the subscription for free and take part in Prime Day by starting a 30-day trial period.

Prime Day is a shopping event designed for Prime customers that provides access to great bargains on products from top brands. Amazon Prime Day will take place on 12 and 13 July, giving Polish customers the chance to take part in this annual global event. The festival of bargains, which lasts 48 hours, is organised around the world – in Poland, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, UK, USA and also, for the first time, in Sweden. Later this summer, Prime Day events will be held in India, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and for the first time in Egypt.

“We introduced Prime to Poland in October last year and we are delighted to announce to our customers and local retail partners in Poland that we have reached another milestone, namely hosting the first Prime Day in Poland,” Mourad Taoufiki, CEO of Amazon.pl, said.

“We’re excited to bring our best Prime Day bargains to even more people around the world – products from small businesses and home goods that our customers love,” Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, said.

Amazon has been operating in Poland since 2014 and has created more than 25,000 workplaces in ten modern logistics centres, as well as in the Amazon Web Services office in Warsaw and Technology Development Centres in Gdansk, Krakow and Warsaw.
