According to the latest poll by the National Research Group (OGB), the top three candidates in Poland’s presidential race would be Rafał Trzaskowski, Karol Nawrocki, and Sławomir Mentzen. Interestingly, this is yet another poll showing a significant drop in support for the Civic Coalition’s candidate!

Presidential Debates
The first round of the presidential election is just a month away—scheduled for May 18. However, all signs suggest it won’t produce a clear winner, meaning a runoff is set for June 1.
So far, three presidential debates have taken place. Two were held in Końskie—one co-organized by the Republika TV channel—and a third, dubbed “Trzaskowski’s debate,” organized by independent media, which he chose not to attend.
On Monday, a major presidential debate took place at our station’s headquarters. It turned out to be a huge success in terms of viewership and online engagement. However, Rafał Trzaskowski was absent once again. His rivals, political commentators, and independent journalists are calling it what it is—cowardice.
New Poll: Tusk’s Deputy on the Decline
According to the OGB Pro poll, Rafał Trzaskowski—Donald Tusk’s party candidate—still leads the pack with 35.53% of the vote, which roughly reflects the party’s core voter base.
Trailing behind is Karol Nawrocki, an independent candidate supported by the Law and Justice (PiS) party, with 29.56%. What stands out is the narrowing gap between the two. Earlier polls showed a much wider margin. Could the debates be shifting public opinion?
In third place is Sławomir Mentzen of the Confederation party, with 20.43% support.
And the surprises don’t stop there—according to OGB’s data, Grzegorz Braun is now polling ahead of the Speaker of the Sejm! The MEP would garner 4.67% support, while Szymon Hołownia (from the Third Way coalition) trails with just 3.44%.
