The Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) suspended trading on all markets on Monday, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., citing the need to ensure trading security.
“The GPW announces that today’s trading session will be suspended on all markets from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. due to trading security concerns. From 4:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., orders will be accepted, with continuous trading set to resume at 4:30 p.m.,” the exchange stated in its operational communications.
Earlier on Monday, the GPW reported the declaration of “Exceptional Market Conditions.” These special conditions are announced in response to unusual market volatility that activates volatility mechanisms for most financial instruments.
