Poland’s ruling United Right coalition would win a parliamentary election held next Sunday with 37 percent of the vote, a new survey by the Estymator pollster for the DoRzeczy website has shown.

Main opposition grouping Civic Coalition (KO) would place second with 28.8 percent backing, followed by Poland 2050 with 9.1 percent.

The Left would receive 8.9 percent support and the right-wing Confederation (Konfederacja) party would be supported by 7.6 percent of the voters.

Next came the Polish People’s Party (PSL), which could count on 6.6 percent of the vote.

All of the remaining parties would fall below the 5-percent threshold needed to take seats in the Sejm, lower house of parliament.

The estimated voter turnout stood at 56 percent.

Estymator ran the computer-assisted survey on January 26 and 27 on a representative national sample of 1,035 adult Poles.
