    New Polish Commissioner for EXPO 2020 appointed

    Adrian Malinowski has become the new general commissioner of the Polish section of the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai – the Polish Investment and Trade Agency reported. He replaced Tadeusz Kościński, the Minister of Finance.

    EXPO 2020 in Dubai will be the first world exhibition organized in an Arab country. It will start on October 20 this year and will last until April 10, 2021. The exhibition area is 4 sq km, where 180 countries and organizations will present themselves. The exhibition is to be visited by 25 million guests. Malinowski was appointed by the Council of Ministers as the general commissioner of the Polish section of the World Exhibition EXPO 2020. Until now, he was the director of the Department of Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Development. “In Dubai, we want to continue the narrative of Poland as a country whose main potential is people, creative, hardworking, educated, ready to cooperate, full of energy and cleverness”, Malinowski said. He noted that Poland is recognized as an outstanding participant in world exhibitions.
