    Upcoming NATO summit: President Andrzej Duda talked with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

    President Andrzej Duda spoke by phone with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about the upcoming NATO summit and the security situation in connection with the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine, the presidential office announced on Monday evening.

    “President Andrzej Duda spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about preparations for the upcoming NATO summit and the security situation in connection with the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine,” the Chancellery of the President reported on Twitter.

    On Saturday, the President – who observed the operations of the troops during the largest exercise of the Polish Armed Forces this year – ANAKONDA-23 at the Central Air Force Training Range in Ustka – emphasized that Poland remains in constant contact with its allies.

    At that time, he also announced his Monday conversation with the NATO secretary general related to the preparations for the NATO summit scheduled for July in Vilnius. The president added that he would soon also meet with the Polish ambassador to NATO, Tomasz Szatkowski, and the topic would be, among others, Polish preparations for the Alliance summit.
