The Visegrad Group (V4) is as strong as ever. We have shown our effectiveness many times, both in the face of the fight for common interests on the European Union forum, as well as in the fight against the coronavirus and the crisis, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki reported.
“I thank Andrej Babisz (Czech Prime Minister), Viktor Orban (Hungarian Prime Minister) and Igor Matovicz (Slovak Prime Minister) for their support and excellent cooperation. Together we can do more,” the head of the Polish government wrote on Facebook.
On Friday in Warsaw, the finance ministers of the Visegrad Group countries adopted a declaration on the continuation of economic cooperation. The declaration is a joint position of the V4 group indicating the readiness of states to implement actions in the light of the current financial and economic challenges in Europe and the region.
On July 1, Poland took over the presidency of the Visegrad Group.
