    The XXVIII International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society is set to take place in Katowice from September 19-21, gathering over 4,000 participants and 500 speakers. The event’s theme, “Cardiology for Life: From Prevention to Intervention,” emphasizes the latest advancements and innovations in cardiology.

    A Platform for Knowledge and Collaboration

    This congress offers cardiologists an opportunity to foster unity within the field and plan future advancements in both research and healthcare. With 152 scientific and educational sessions, the event aims to cover the latest guidelines, research findings, and diagnostic and therapeutic methods used in daily clinical practice.

    Focus on European Guidelines

    Key topics include new guidelines from the European Society of Cardiology on managing hypertension, atrial fibrillation, chronic coronary syndromes, and aortic and peripheral vascular diseases. Discussions will also touch upon the National Cardiology Network Act and its ongoing pilot program in Poland.

    Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Polish Cardiac Society, the congress is part of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 celebrations.
