A Disgusting Wave of Hatred from the “Smiling” Camp Targeting Nawrocki’s Daughter: “For Heaven’s Sake, Leave This Child Alone”

A vile wave of online hate has been directed at the daughter of Karol Nawrocki by supporters of Rafał Trzaskowski, seemingly as a way to vent their frustration over the electoral defeat of the deputy leader of the Civic Coalition. In defense of the young girl, numerous public figures—including Dorota Rabczewska (Doda), Karolina Korwin-Piotrowska, and Marcin Najman—have spoken out.

Attack on Karol Nawrocki’s Daughter

During the election night speech delivered by Karol Nawrocki, his seven-year-old daughter drew attention online for her spontaneous behavior—whispering to her mother, making playful gestures, and engaging with people around the stage. This innocent conduct became the pretext for a coordinated and repugnant hate campaign launched by supporters of Trzaskowski, aimed at the child in the aftermath of their candidate’s loss.

However, voices of support emerged from across the political divide. Dorota Rabczewska, known as “Doda,” was among those who spoke out.

“Regardless of who becomes president, half of the country will inevitably be dissatisfied. But no matter what, Poles should stand united and show respect to the head of state. And if you find it impossible to respect the president—that’s your right—but at the very least, leave the president’s daughter alone,”
she declared.

As someone deeply involved in initiatives supporting children and youth struggling with depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and other mental health challenges, Doda appealed for restraint:

“I implore you not to direct your hatred for politicians or the newly elected president toward an innocent child. Let’s not allow this little girl to become a victim of online hate.”

Karolina Korwin-Piotrowska Also Responds Firmly

Journalist Karolina Korwin-Piotrowska also voiced her disapproval in strong terms:

“If anyone among my followers is attacking this child, I ask that you unfollow me immediately. I will not tolerate the destruction of this little girl. If you champion feminism, tolerance, or body positivity, now is the time to be consistent. This is a test of your character.”

She added:

“This was not my candidate, and I disagree with his views, but for heaven’s sake—leave the child alone.”

Marcin Najman Does Not Mince Words

Marcin Najman also offered a sharp rebuke:

“To all those targeting the daughter of the president-elect with hate—I want you to know you are disgusting. You are vile. I am ashamed of every Pole who behaves this way. The president-elect is not someone I support—I’ve made that clear. Nor do I support Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw. But how can anyone drag a child into a political conflict between adults?”

He concluded with a powerful condemnation:

“To anyone who has attacked this child online—may your hand wither.
We may argue, we may disagree politically—that’s our right. But hands off our children.”
