A Symbol of the Current Government, Prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek Found Guilty and Sanctioned

Prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, known for her political activism, shared with evident regret on platform X that the Disciplinary Court at the Prosecutor General’s Office found her guilty yesterday and imposed a penalty for damaging the reputation of the prosecution service.

Wrzosek has become a symbol of the current government, which is accused of violating the rule of law. In addition to announcing the court’s unfavorable ruling, her post on platform X carried a hint of defiance.

“Is this the end of the matter? No,” she added at the end of her post.

The case was brought to public attention on platform X by Radio Wnet journalist Jakub Pilarek, who posed a series of questions to Prosecutor Wrzosek about the course of the court session and the imposed sanction.

The National Association of Judges “Judges of the Republic of Poland” also commented on the case via platform X.

“As you yourself admitted: you violated the dignity of the office by walking out during the announcement of the Disciplinary Court’s decision,” the association wrote on its account.
