Łódź University of Technology is the first university that signed an agreement with Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe related to the preparation of human resources for nuclear energy. Specialists are to be educated in inter-faculty postgraduate studies and the best students will receive special internships. The authors of the study program, apart from classes covering technical aspects, envisaged, inter alia, a subject concerning an important problem, which is the socio-sociological determinants of the development of nuclear energy. The company Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe has experience in this field.
State Fire Service (Polish: Państwowa Straż Pożarna, PSP) has already provided the Ukrainian forces with 206 fire trucks and 2767 pallets of fire equipment. "High Water" (Polish: "Wielka woda") is the latest Polish political drama series against the backdrop of a natural disaster inspired by the real-life events of the Millennium Flood which hit Poland, as well as parts of the Czech Republic and Germany in 1997. It is a six-episode series directed by Jan Holoubek and Bartłomiej Ignaciuk, based on the scripts of Kasper Bajon and Kinga Krzemińska. Starring: Agnieszka Żulewska, Tomasz Schuchardt, Ireneusz Czop and Marta Nieradkiewicz, Mirosław Kropielnicki, Anna Dymna and Tomasz Kot. The series was released on Netflix on 5th October.
The Police launched an informational and educational campaign aimed at pedestrians called "Set an Example" at the beginning of October. The campaign will last until the end of the year. The National Science Centre (NCN) hereby announces the POLONEZ BIS 3 call for 24-month research projects carried out by incoming researchers. The purpose of the call is to help researchers develop their professional careers by supporting their international mobility and to fund ambitious research projects at the best Polish research institutions. Banialuka Puppet Theater is one of the oldest puppet theaters in Poland and at the same time, one of the most famous theaters in the country and the world.
