Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli mesmerized a full-house audience at Chorzów’s Silesian Stadium on August 26th. The event marked his largest-ticketed performance in Poland, featuring classical music on an unprecedented scale at the stadium. Collaborating with pop icons like Celine Dion, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa, Bocelli’s duets have left an indelible mark.

The tenor’s extraordinary voice and stage presence have graced numerous iconic events, including the Oscars (1999) and UEFA Champions League final (2016). Bocelli’s deep affection for Poland was evident in his heartfelt Facebook post.

His 2020 concert at Warsaw’s PGE National Stadium set a record until the Chorzów concert surpassed it. Bocelli’s past performances celebrated poignant occasions, like the Tall Ships Races finale in Szczecin (2017) and Poznań University’s centenary (2019).

Chorzów’s concert featured conductor Carlo Bernini, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, and the Gdynia Maritime University Academic Choir. Esteemed guests included opera artist Maria Aledia, pop vocalist Ilaria Della Bidia, and flutist Andrea Griminelli.
