    Another medal for Polish ski jumpers in Whistler

    Polish ski jumpers, in the line of Marcin Wrobel, Klemens Joniak, Kacper Tomasiak and Jan Habdas, won the silver medal in the team competition of the Junior World Ski Championships in Whistler. The Austrians triumphed, and the Slovenians took the bronze.

    The white-red jumpers fiercely battled the Austrians for the gold medal at the junior world championships. Both teams were tied up until the halfway point, but the Poles ultimately lost by 5.8 points. The Slovenes were far behind the winners by 46.7 points.

    This is the third medal for Poland during these championships. Jan Habdas won bronze individually on the hill, and Izabela Marcisz won silver in the 10 km free technique run.
