Bad News for Drivers: Fuel Prices Keep Rising. See How Much You’ll Pay

Fuel prices have risen noticeably compared to last week, according to analysts from the e-petrol.pl portal. Diesel is approaching 8 PLN per liter, while gasoline is nearing 7 PLN per liter. The sharpest increases have been observed in gasoline prices.

On Wednesday, analysts reported that the average price of popular 95-octane gasoline (E10) increased by 31 grosz, reaching 6.79 PLN per liter, while premium gasoline rose by 30 grosz to 7.52 PLN per liter. Slightly smaller increases were recorded for diesel (ON), where the average price went up by 17 grosz, bringing it to 7.76 PLN per liter.

Fuel Prices: Where Is It Cheapest?

“In the current week, the most favorable prices for diesel drivers can be found in the Silesian Voivodeship, where a liter of diesel costs on average 7.69 PLN. At the other end of the spectrum is the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, with a price of 7.82 PLN per liter,” the analysts noted.

According to e-petrol.pl data, the cheapest E10 gasoline can be found in the Łódź Voivodeship (6.71 PLN per liter) and the Silesian Voivodeship (6.72 PLN per liter). The highest prices for this fuel are currently in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship (6.93 PLN per liter) as well as in the Lublin and Świętokrzyskie regions (6.89 PLN per liter).

Analysts added that regional differences in autogas (LPG) prices are the smallest (only about 10 grosz). The lowest price was recorded in the Silesian Voivodeship (3.27 PLN per liter), while the highest prices are paid by drivers in Lower Silesia (3.37 PLN per liter) and in the Mazowieckie and Pomorskie Voivodeships (3.36 PLN per liter).
