In a determined two-year campaign, Polish law enforcement, in collaboration with international agencies, successfully disrupted a massive drug trafficking operation known as “White Snow.” The project, initiated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) and the Italian Central Directorate for Anti-Drug Services (DCSA), achieved remarkable results.

They apprehended over 83 individuals, seized a staggering 12 tons of narcotics (valued at nearly €1.2 billion), confiscated 160 firearms, more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition, and dismantled two drug labs while shutting down a marijuana plantation.

The initiative primarily aimed to combat organized narcotics crime, focusing on identifying new cocaine trafficking routes and methods. Various international agencies actively participated, including those from Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Colombia, the Netherlands, and Sweden, as well as Europol and Frontex.

“White Snow” also organized two international training sessions where officers from Poland and abroad enhanced their skills in cryptocurrency investigations and drone operations.

The project culminated in a conference in Warsaw, presenting the results of strategic and operational actions. The campaign led to the capture of high-ranking criminals and a significant dent in the illegal drug trade, highlighting the power of international cooperation in the fight against organized crime.
