The Museum of Kępno’s Earth, named after T. P. Potworowski, has been honored with a 10,000 PLN award for its project titled Singing Watercolors in the competition Proecological and Pro-Cultural Actions within the Development Strategy of the Wielkopolska Region.
The Director, Karolina Różewska, and Deputy Director, Martyna Wycisk, jointly accepted the award with Mayor Piotr Psikus. Jacek Bogusławski, a Member of the Wielkopolska Regional Board, conveyed congratulations during the awards ceremony in Poznań on November 7, 2023, at the XXIV edition of the Proecological and Pro-Cultural Actions within the Development Strategy of the Wielkopolska Region Gala.
Innovative Educational Workshops
The awarded project centered on innovative educational-promotional workshops, promoting contemporary art, particularly the works of T. P. Potworowski, and the Museum of Kępno. Free educational sessions incorporating musical elements were organized, accompanied by the publication of an educational watercolor coloring book titled Singing Watercolors and a specially produced song dedicated to the Kępno Museum. The project was made possible through financial support from the PZU Foundation.
