Central and Eastern European Presidents’ Summit. President Nawrocki Hosts Regional Leaders

An informal summit of Central and Eastern European presidents has begun. At the invitation of President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki, the leaders of several countries from the region have arrived in Poland. The event was announced by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.

According to the announcement, the presidents attending the meeting are Gitanas Nausėda of Lithuania, Edgars Rinkēvičs of Latvia, Alar Karis of Estonia, and Nicușor Dan of Romania. As part of their visit, the invited leaders toured the Naval Port in Gdynia. Important talks are scheduled to take place later at the President of the Republic of Poland’s Residence in Jurata.

Meetings of this kind at the highest level play an important role in strengthening cooperation and deepening relations among the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Due to its geographical location and geopolitical circumstances, the region has maintained close cooperation for years in numerous areas, including security and international affairs.

The informal format of the summit encourages direct exchanges of views and discussions on issues of importance to the entire region. Further information regarding the topics discussed and the outcomes of the talks is expected to be released in subsequent official statements.
