A 37-year-old Chinese citizen has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Lithuanian national in Wólka Kosowska, according to a statement from the Warsaw Metropolitan Police.
The arrest was made by officers from both the Warsaw Metropolitan Police and the Poznań Provincial Police. The suspect is believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old Lithuanian man on Monday. The incident occurred in a bar located within a shopping center in Wólka Kosowska.
Authorities reported that the victim, suffering from a gunshot wound, was initially transported by bystanders to a car with the intention of driving him to a hospital in Nadarzyn. However, his condition deteriorated en route, prompting the witnesses to call an ambulance. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, the man was pronounced dead.
The investigation, led by the prosecutor’s office, is ongoing. The police have detained a total of 12 individuals in connection with the case, with two suspects remaining in custody.
