A shocking video has surfaced online. According to Law and Justice (PiS) Member of the European Parliament Waldemar Buda, the recording was made by Beata Jacyszyn, a local councilor representing Third Way in Sieradz. The politician announced that he would file a notification with prosecutors.
The video published by Buda shows a man strapped to a hospital bed while a woman speaks to him. The recording was clearly made without the man’s consent – he is believed to be a patient.
“Meet Beata Jacyszyn, a Third Way councilor in Sieradz. Mocking a sick person – and recording him in the first place – is disgusting moral degradation. Dawid K. in a skirt,” Buda wrote on X while sharing the video.
The Law and Justice (PiS) MEP said he would submit a notification to the Prosecutor General “requesting that the author of the recording and all relevant circumstances be identified.” He also claimed that the video had since been removed from Jacyszyn’s social media account.
Beata Jacyszyn serves as Deputy Director for Nursing and Midwifery at the Provincial Hospital in Sieradz. She is also a member of the Sieradz City Council. According to her Facebook profile, she is a councilor “with 20 years of experience.”
In 2023, she ran in Poland’s parliamentary elections with the backing of Poland 2050 (Polska 2050) led by Szymon Hołownia. However, she did not win a seat in parliament.
