Discover a new healthcare program for Poles offering diagnostics, treatment, and financial support for critical illnesses.
A recent study by Nationale-Nederlanden reveals significant healthcare challenges in Poland. Nearly 60% fear chronic diseases, such as cancer and cardiovascular issues, while only 27% express satisfaction with the current healthcare system. To tackle these concerns, Nationale-Nederlanden partnered with LUX MED to create a holistic insurance program combining financial aid and advanced medical care.
Poles prioritize quick access to diagnostics and specialist treatment, especially for serious illnesses such as cancer and heart disease. As many as 93% of respondents emphasize that early diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment.
A high standard of care and access to specialists are also key expectations, particularly among younger generations, who are more willing to pay extra for better-quality healthcare. For nearly half of the respondents, the lack of financial security in the event of illness remains a significant barrier, affecting their sense of safety.
The program covers all treatment stages, including diagnostics, surgery, rehabilitation, and financial support. It provides quick access to diagnostics for 19 major diseases, advanced imaging, and treatment coordination across LUX MED’s network of over 300 facilities.
Key components include insurance for 32 severe illnesses, tailored support for different life stages, and financial aid for disability. This initiative reflects a shift towards personalized, patient-centered healthcare in Poland.
