Court Overturns Acquittal in Grodzki-Sakiewicz Case, Proceedings Discontinued Due to Statute of Limitations – “Resuscitation in the Morgue”
The District Court in Warsaw overturned the first-instance verdict that had acquitted the president of TV Republika, Tomasz Sakiewicz, in a case brought by the former Marshal of the Senate, Tomasz Grodzki. At the same time, it decided to discontinue the proceedings due to the statute of limitations.
