CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp in Rzeszów: “What Unites Us Is Our Understanding of Freedom”

“The United States came dangerously close to destroying everything that makes it great. The Left succeeded in dividing Americans—people who come from all corners of the world, starting with Europe,” said CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp, addressing participants at CPAC Poland.

“Good morning, Poland! We are awake, we are ready. Are you happy that America is becoming great again? Does the re-election of Donald Trump bring you joy? Does it warm your hearts?” Schlapp began as he opened the first CPAC conference in Poland.

“We must remember a great American, George Washington. From him to Donald Trump, we carry a message to Soros, the globalists, the communists, the socialists, the statists: Freedom has been revived in America,” he said.

“Our Constitution has come alive again. Americans are realizing that there has been massive oppression and evil within the WOKE culture, in the acceptance of all these lies. Our children became the victims of these lies. It was a massive propaganda campaign aimed at reshaping our reality, at redefining what we consider right and true,” Schlapp continued.

He urged that in a free society, we must build on “family values, the rule of law, and religious freedom.” He added, “All of these vital values have come under attack by globalists, communists… all those who believed they knew better than the rest of us.”

He went on: “The United States came close to destroying everything that makes this country great. The Left succeeded in dividing Americans, who come from every corner of the globe, starting with Europe. Our experiences, drawn from our families, are what make us strong. What unites us is our understanding of freedom. We understand that in freedom, the individual is powerful. The individual understands that God created them for more than mere existence. This was the cornerstone of America for over 200 years. But then, they began to divide us, to pit groups against one another, to stir up guilt.”

“They made us feel guilty for expressing our religious beliefs, for embracing Christian values. All of those strengths were twisted into weaknesses. They poured lie after lie into society,” he recalled.
