CPAC Poland 2025 – Podkarpacie at the Heart of Global Conservative Discourse

May 27, 2025, will go down in history as the day Poland – for the first time – hosted one of the most prominent events in the global conservative sphere. The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) arrived in Jasionka near Rzeszów, transforming the ZEN.COM Expo G2A Arena into a vibrant space of dialogue, ideas, and community. The event brought together hundreds of participants from across the globe – politicians, opinion leaders, journalists, intellectuals, as well as entrepreneurs and social activists. Telewizja Republika, which supported the event’s organization, had the honor not only of providing full coverage of the conference but also of actively contributing to its preparation and execution.

Poland at the Center of Global Debate

CPAC, with its over 50-year tradition, made its debut in Poland. Previously, conferences had been held in countries such as the United States, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, and Hungary. This time, the spotlight turned to the Podkarpacie region.

The official opening of CPAC Poland 2025 was led by Tomasz Sakiewicz, Michał Rachoń, Adrian Kubicki, and Matthew Schlapp. Among the keynote speakers were Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, and Father Tomasz Duszkiewicz. From early morning until late afternoon, CPAC Poland 2025 was abuzz with activity. The presence of hundreds of attendees from both Poland and abroad – including politicians, intellectuals, experts, opinion leaders, and journalists – created a unique atmosphere of intellectual exchange and a united front built around values increasingly marginalized in today’s world: freedom, sovereignty, family, responsibility, and tradition.

A Conservative Response to the Challenges Facing the West

The conference program was opened by former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists, who emphasized the need to build a strong, sovereign Europe founded on enduring values. Subsequent speakers included Prof. Przemysław Czarnek, John Eastman, and James Taylor from the Heartland Institute – each underlining the importance of freedom, tradition, and social responsibility. A noteworthy moment was the discussion led by Matthew Schlapp with CPAC leaders from Japan and Hungary – Jay Aeba and Miklós Szánthó – who spoke of the shared values uniting conservatives around the world. Contributions from leaders from Romania, the United States, and Germany further underscored the event’s status as a truly international forum of ideas.

Rzeszów – The New Capital of Conservative Dialogue

The afternoon panels stood out not only in format but in substance. A discussion featuring Michał Rachoń, Przemysław Wipler, Daniel Obajtek, Anna Wellisz, and James Taylor tackled critical issues such as energy security and economic sovereignty. Another panel, featuring Tomasz Sakiewicz, Patryk Jaki, Janusz Kowalski, and Hans-Georg Maassen, focused on Europe’s response to the crisis of democratic institutions.
Guido Buehler, CEO of zondacrypto – the event’s main sponsor – highlighted in conversation with Jarosław Olechowski the pivotal role of blockchain technology in fostering trust and transparency in the economy.

The conference also welcomed distinguished guests: Kristi Noem, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, and President Andrzej Duda. Their concluding remarks delivered a powerful message about the importance of international cooperation in defending shared values.

CPAC Poland 2025 demonstrated that conservatism is not only about preserving tradition but also about embracing the challenges of the modern world with purpose and resolve.
