Tomorrow at 12:00 p.m., Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of the Law and Justice (PiS) party, will meet with party vice-president Mateusz Morawiecki at PiS headquarters on Nowogrodzka Street, party spokesperson Rafał Bochenek announced. The meeting comes on the day the deadline expires for party members to submit declarations related to the ban on membership in political associations.
Thursday marks the deadline set for members of the PiS parliamentary caucus to sign a declaration confirming that they do not belong to associations engaged in political activity. Those who fail to submit the declaration face expulsion from the party.
On Wednesday, former Prime Minister, PiS vice-president, and founder of the Rozwój Plus association, Mateusz Morawiecki, addressed the issue. He stated that he sees his political future within Law and Justice. However, he has not yet announced the dissolution of the association. Some politicians associated with Morawiecki’s political camp have already submitted the required declarations.
According to PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek, Morawiecki and party leader Jarosław Kaczyński will meet again on the day the deadline expires. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 12:00 p.m. at the party’s headquarters on Nowogrodzka Street.
