Did the government commission articles attacking Trzaskowski’s rivals? Journalist uncovers the facts

The industry portal press.pl, in a piece analyzing Gazeta Wyborcza‘s attack on Krzysztof Stanowski, revealed a crucial detail. Beneath the article, there was an advertisement and a disclaimer stating: “This publication was commissioned by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.”

Just before the election silence ahead of the first round of the presidential elections, Wyborcza, through journalist Wojciech Czuchnowski, accused Krzysztof Stanowski of having “pocketed a million from the PiS government.”

After the elections—during which he publicly asked people not to vote for him—Stanowski responded to Wyborcza‘s claims in a recorded commentary.

In one of his remarks, he pointed out a striking detail: Press magazine’s article included a banner stating, “This publication was commissioned by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.”

“Thank you, Mr. Donald! This is the first time I’ve seen a client so openly admit they ordered the piece. It’s really very kind of you to own up to it. You should give your team a bonus—they organized this brilliantly,” Stanowski said with irony.
